GoodThingsGrow has transformed an empty lot into a park for the community and planted an orchard at the RooseveltWellness Center to teach students about Arizona's history and nutrition. They are seeking donations to plant fruit trees and edible gardens at 18 Roosevelt elementary schools so students can learn hands-on about STEM, sustainability, and nutrition. The orchards require funding for irrigation lines, trees, and public art. Donations will help actually create community spaces that improve education and the environment for children.

28. Transforming an empty lot into a park, GoodThings
Grow has created a public space that will serve a
deserving community for generations to come. But
this is only the start!
Thanks to all of our generous donors, we’ve planted
an orchard at the RooseveltWellness Center that will
teach students aboutArizona’s green history, teach
families about the need for nutrition, and teach a
community about their right to a positive quality of
life. Now comes the fun part.
We need you to donate (https://goodthingsgrow-
neighborhoodleaders.nationbuilder.com/donate) to
our effort to plant fruit trees and an edible garden at
each of our eighteen Roosevelt elementary campuses
so that students can get their hands dirty while
learning about STEM, sustainability, and nutrition.
From irrigation lines to fruit trees to public art, these
orchards are not free.
With your help, we can stop just talking about
improving education and the environment for our
children and begin to actually build community
spaces that make change visible. Donate
now: https://goodthingsgrow-
