VW Truck & Bus
November 2011 an assembly agreement was signed between
Volkswagen Truck & Bus and RT East Africa, giving sole rights for
assembly and sale of Volkswagen Trucks and Busses in the eastern
Africa region.
The new VW plant, recently completed opposite the Randon trailer
fabrication plant, began assembly beginning of November 2012.
● Apart from prime movers a full range of
busses are produced and supplied, from
long haul luxury cruisers to smaller
commuter models.

October 2012 MAN Truck and Bus signed an exclusive distribution
agreement with RT, for the entire eastern Africa, including Southern
Sudan.

both MAN and VW trucks, from general purpose 10 ton trucks to heavy
haul prime movers.
