Workplace Security & Investigations Since 1967

National Business Investigations, Inc.
WORKPLACE PROTECTION
The Dickenson University School
of Criminal Justice says there are
an estimated 11 million threats
or acts of violence in America's
schools and workplaces
annually. That's over 30,000
every day! We exist to help our
clients avoid becoming a
member of this statistic and
mitigate the damage if it does.
SECURITY SERVICES
Hospitals, hotels, malls,
communities, office buildings,
industrial and commercial
complexes... they all have one
thing in common: People.
Anytime there is a gathering of
people, there exists a potential
for individuals who would
carry out wrongdoing. That’s
where we come in.
EXECUTIVE PROTECTION
There is a balancing act that
must be achieved when
providing Executive Protection
to an employee, board member,
or C-level executive. The greater
the threat, the greater the
measures taken to ensure
security while limiting and/or
controlling the movements of
the principal being protected.

EXECUTIVE PROTECTION
The head of security for a large corporation contacted MPS Security after his CEO received two letters that were threatening in nature.
Although the letters were anonymous, it was suspected that a recently terminated employee had written them. A physical risk
assessment and a full background check of the individual were immediately conducted. Concurrently, and as a precaution, four MPS
agents were dispatched to provide security at the business and for the CEO and his family at home. Surveillance as then initiated to
monitor the suspected person's activities during the "hot period." When the subject was observed loading a rifle into his vehicle before
leaving in the direction of his former workplace, MPS agents contacted law enforcement who stopped and detained the employee.
SECURITY SERVICES
There are times when, following an executive protection assignment for a corporation or other business entity, we discover the need to
establish a uniformed security presence. Because when the immediate threat is neutralized through executive protection, a continued
visible presence can help ensure that future problems are prevented. Uniformed security and marked vehicles provide a visible
deterrent and trained awareness of potential threats and liabilities when you are not present or are busy paying attention to your own
responsibilities. After all, the purpose of security is to focus just that so others can focus on what they were hired to do. Our
professional appearance, marked vehicles, and 24/7 patrols establish a safe environment for businesses, employees, and customers.
WORKPLACE PROTECTION
Prevention is what happens when a life is saved or no one gets sued. Prevention means that a corporate president, human resources
manager or line supervisor can continue his or her work uninterrupted. Prevention occurs when a corporate board meeting can be
conducted in public or privately under a blanket of security, or when a hostile employee is terminated but doesn’t become combative
because a professional protective agent is present. Prevention is what happens when a threat is made, directly or indirectly, and the
company has the foresight to implement professional protective and security measures before that threat is carried out. Prevention isn’t
just a necessary actions, it’s a responsibility of every company to ensure the safety of its people, its clients and the organization.
