This document describes an early version of an interactive software project that uses analog signals as input to generate both movement of an insect on screen and live sound. The software transforms the input signal into a time code that controls both the insect's motion in a film and accompanying sound effects. A related project uses electric impulses from the human body as input to animate photography and transform it into film.

1. Insect Media / Affective Dance
This is the early working version for the new project based on interactive software that can
transform analog signal into a time code for film thus into the movement of a insect that is displayed
on a screen and the same data will be transformed into live generated sound. The two projects are
based on the same software that is based on the idea of using human life and biological impulses to
animate, to give life to the photography and transform photography into the film. First project is
transforming the sound as input and second is using human body electric impulses. So the names
are Insect Media and Affective Dance.
