2. Motta Alfredo S.p.A has been involved in the business
of tanning and dyeing leathers since 1912.
The company was established by Alfredo Motta thanks
to his enthusiasm and love for leathers inherited from
his father, a shoe-maker.
It is the direct result of many years of experience and
researches, at first acquired producing fine gloving
leathers, that Motta Alfredo S.p.A enjoys the reputation
as leader for quality and as specialist in the production
of suedes and nappas for clothing and accessories.
After four generations engaged in the same job, the
company employs 100 people, produces 5000 finished
skins daily, extends for 9000 square metres of surface.
The strong point of the company is still the production
of the newest articles, at any price level, for the leather
garment industry.
The experience gained in the purchase of the raw
materials in the best world areas, the contribution of the
most advanced technologies ever applied in the tanning
industry, the highest competence of the technical and
commercial staff engaged for many years in the same
sector, the continuous relation with the most famous
designers in the world, have enabled the company to
cross the century remaining at the top in its field.
