At Ideacomb, we did a survery of HR and Talent Management professionals " Role of HR in Fostering Innovation culture". 33% of the participants in this survey said their organizations have a function or department accountable for Innovation. Many of these organizations have Chief Innovation Officers like yourself carrying the incredibly challenging task of driving innovation within an enterprise.
One of the key takeaways of the survey results was also driving employee engagement and how engaged employees can contribute effectively in innovation objectives.
Ideacomb stemmed out of our passion for emerging social workplaces in a digitally connected organizations and how employee engagement will be changing in such times.

Dr Simon Duffy gave this talk to Directors of Public Health and other professionals in Birmingham in July 2016. He contends that there is no fundamental problem with the welfare state other than (a) we have abandoned concern for equality and (b) we have not designed a welfare state to effectively promote our own active citizenship. He sets out a series of possible changes to genuinely reform (rather than cut and undermine) the welfare state based on real community-based initiatives.
