Drug major Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd on Wednesday said its subsidiary has received final approval from the US health regulator,
US FDA, for generic version of Crestor. “One of its subsidiaries has received final approval from US FDA for its Abbreviated New Drug
Application(ANDA) for genericversionofCrestor,RosuvastatinCalciumtablets5mg(base),10mg(base),20 mg(base) and40mg(base),”
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange on July 20, 2016. These Rosuvastatin Calcium tablets are
therapeutic equivalents ofIPRPharmaceuticals, Inc.’s Crestor tablets,it said. As per IMS MAT May 2016, these tablets have annual sales of
approximatelyUSD6.8billionintheUS.
Technical Outlook: On daily chart, stock has formed strong bull candlestick with above average volume, which indicates for accentuated
buying activity during last trading session. Moreover, stock has given breakout of its Cup and Handle pattern, which shows that further
robust upside movement can be seen in few trading session. A momentum indicator RSI reading is at 63.50 level with positive crossover,

Asia markets mostly climbed at the open on Thursday, with Japanese shares leading regional peers as local media reports suggested a
sizable stimulus package from the Abe government was forthcoming. In Japan, the benchmark Nikkei 225 rallied 1.18 percent, with stocks

adverse effects of Brexit. The report cited sources close to the matter. In South Korea, the Kospi gained 0.02 percent. Australia's ASX 200
was up 0.79 percent, with most sectors rallying. The All Ordinaries Gold Index, which serves as a broad market indicator for the gold
industry, was down 4.26 percent, while the materials sub-index fell 0.31 percent. The SGX Nifty suggests a flat opening for our markets as
it is trading at 8586.00, down by 3 points.
Wall Street gained on Wednesday and the S&P 500 and Dow industrials set fresh records, as Microsoft's strong results boosted
the indexes and marked the latest sign that US corporate earnings season may be less dour than feared. Microsoft shares surged
5.3 percent after the software giant posted sharp growth in its cloud computing business. The stock gave by far the biggest lift to
the major indexes and the tech sector. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 36.02 points, or 0.19 percent, to 18,595.03, for its
ninth straight session of gains, its longest such streak since March 2013. The S&P 500 gained 9.24 points, or 0.43 percent, to
2,173.02 and the Nasdaq Composite added 53.56 points, or 1.06 percent, to 5,089.93.
