At Williams-Sonoma Inc., in one of my most diverse positions yet as a project manager, I was tasked with overseeing packaging for their sweet foods and bakeware devision. This entailed such responsibilities as sourcing and sizing both vessel and packaging options for my categories; coordinating with a multitude of vendors from around the globe in food, bakeware, and packaging; aligning internal processes and scheduling on crucial deadlines for catalog shoots, design reviews, comp building, and design/mechanical production, as well as many other challenging opportunities. From meetings with celebrity chefs to weekly meetings with the president the need to adapt quickly and think on your feet while maintaining a high level of organization was critical to success. Graphic Designer • Freelance • Elizabeth Arden & Coty Inc. Since moving to California I have created presentations for the CEO of Coty, worked on print ads and annual report art for Coty, and created and edited several pieces of packaging for Elizabeth Arden. Project Manager / Graphic Designer • Coty Inc. Contract: Coloredge While working at Coloredge I supported Coty in a variety of roles. My primary role was creating print ready packaging files out of design turnovers. At several points I was tasked with on-site work at their headquarters, in both design assistance and PowerPoint presentations. This included a one month long project supporting the CEO for an investor relations conference as well as several other presentations and projects for his team. - 2. Experience package development, and R&D to ensure that massive amounts of artwork were created, routed and approved correctly. I performed the same task for a brief period of time at Coty in New York filling in for a colleague during maternity leave. Upon completion of that time, I was promoted to studio supervisor of our on-site team at Elizabeth Arden’s headquarters in New York. As well as now overseeing the work flow of 4 people, I was also responsible for Elizabeth Arden’s prestige skin care line, which features their most complex packaging and type setting. Over my time at Arden and Coty I have routed and released thousands of print ready files. Graphic Designer • Taro Pharmaceuticals While working at Taro I was responsible for creating and maintaining their generic as well as their privately sold line of product packaging. I also worked on advertisements, coupons, annual reports, and a variety of other printed materials. Graphic Designer / Project Manager • PepsiCo and PBG Contract: Fusion Media While working at Fusion Media I was responsible for a wide variety of responsibilities. We produced materials such as large format banners, printed materials, signage and PowerPoint presentations for The Pepsi Bottling Groups internal trade shows. We also provided on-site technical support at these trade shows as well as PepsiCo’s Board of Directors Meetings in White Plains. Discretion and professionalism were a must as confidentiality agreements were mandatory. - 5. To whom it may concern: It is my utmost pleasure to recommend Morgan Pearce for this and any position. I've known him since 2011 and in my last job, I had the privilege of working both for and along side him at Hudson Yards (for Elizabeth Arden) as a production artist. He was a fellow production artist but more importantly (for me and the others on staff), he was also the NY studio's supervisor. From even before my first day, Morgan made me feel welcomed to the team. That kind of helpful disposition went far past day one and had a much broader reach than just our team. I've yet to meet anyone that didn't like him or did not personally request that he work on their projects. I should make mention (even though I'm sure you already know) that when you're interacting with a full spectrum of varied personalities - each with different working methods and demands - this is a rare and much desired trait. What makes him great is that he leads from the front. I always had the right example of how things should be done which propelled me to go above and beyond what the job required. He was so knowledgable of the procedures and the technical aspects of the job's demands. Sure he could delegate, but he could also jump onto any project at any time and be able to follow through to completion. If I ever had a question, he had an answer and if he didn't, we'd get one together. Everything was always taken care of and under control. We were a real team. I think when you take the time to be invested in your employees and their work, they absolutely notice and the results always beam upwards and outwards. To this day, I can assuredly say that Morgan was the best boss I've ever had. This letter has me once again lamenting that we ended up on opposite sides of the coun- try and I'm no longer under his employ. It is my promise of promises that my unfortunate loss is truly, someone else's mega jackpot win. If you've had the chance to spend just 5 minutes with him, I think you'd agree.
