Shoes is a Ruby GUI toolkit designed for simplicity. It allows building graphical user interfaces with Ruby using only a few concepts. Shoes supports common widgets like buttons, images, and links and can draw to the screen using Cairo and Pango. Applications built with Shoes can run on Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux and are packaged as single file executables. The Shoebox website provides a place to host and share small Shoes applications.
