The Monty Hall Problem is something …
1. … that can be performed in any
educational institution.
2. … you can just simply play as a game.
3. … you can examine in a strictly
mathematical way.
4. … advanced students could program as a
game (as in the example).
Either way can lead to a satisfying result
solving the problem at hand!!!
GoetheSchuleWetzlar
What is the problem?
Imagine you are in a game show.
You have the choice of three doors.
1
GoetheSchuleWetzlar
Behind one of the three doors is a goat.
The aim is to win this goat!
2
GoetheSchuleWetzlar
The Showmaster knows where the
goat is.
He asks the candidates to choose
one of the three doors guessing
where the goat may be.
For example the candidate chooses door two.

4
GoetheSchuleWetzlar
After the candidate has chosen his door (in our example: door
2) the showmaster will open one of the two remaining doors
behind which there is no goat.
For example door three.
The problem to be solved is the question:
Should he change the door?
Now the candidate may decide whether to stick to his
original choice (in our example door 2) or to pick a new door
(in our example door one).

So then … Let's Play!
The table shows that the
candidate should change!

attention!!!
