3. Course Objectives Students will successfully grow a plant and identify the necessary conditions for growth. Students will identify the different stages of plant development, the parts that are developing, and their function. Students will explain the process of photosynthesis and how it contributes to the carbon dioxide/ oxygen cycle. Students will label and identify the different parts of a plant cell and describe their functions. Students will create a food chain and label the different members and the role/dependence they have on other members.
