The author hypothesizes that effective appraisal programs can benefit both organizations and individuals by providing feedback and data for planning. The objectives are to study real-time appraisal dynamics and evaluate its effectiveness in the Indian Army. The scope includes surveying officers and personnel about their appraisal experiences and knowledge.
