Pre-breakfast:
1 tsp. of honey in 1 cup of warm water Or
1 cup yoghurt + 1 banana
Breakfast:
1 bowl of yogurt with oats topped with 1tsp.of
honey & strawberries Or
Toast with apple sauce + 1 boiled egg
Snack 1:
Fruit chaat (Banana, peeled apple, papaya, guava)
Or Rice Pudding
10. Lunch:
Grilled Chicken + 1 boiled potato with
sesame
seed spreading Or Chicken soup + 2
bread
slice
Snack 2:
Coconut water
Dinner:
Grilled Fish + Cucumber or
Minced Chicken with some
Black pepper & salt
+ 1 tortilla (white flour).
Before bed:
Ginger Tea
11. Recommendations:
Regular checkup.
Take hygienic measures.
Drink boiled water.
Advise patient to stop running.
Don’t use any herbal medicine without
knowing its interaction with antiretroviral
drugs.
Try to stimulate appetite by eating
favorite foods.
Select foods that are more energy
dense.
