This document summarizes a spring break mass casualty exercise held from March 11-16, 2014 on South Padre Island involving multiple emergency response agencies. During the exercise, 180 patients were evaluated over 5 days by 5 different Emergency Medical Task Force teams operating from a mobile medical unit. The majority of patients presented with medical issues rather than trauma. Additional activities supported by EMTF-11 included exercises at an air national guard base, airport, and naval air station.
