A businessman who was formerly a passionate rower for the Don Rowing Club donated a $20,000 four-person boat to the club. The boat, named "Spirit of '93", was donated through the businessman's staffing company and honors his most successful year of 1993 when he was part of a four-man crew that won at the Henley regatta. The new boat was christened at a ceremony and then taken out on the water by rowers from the club's junior A crew.

The teacher's comments indicated that Chris had thoroughly researched and planned various elements of pre-production including similar films, genre, target audience, script, storyboards, shotlists, locations, costumes, props, and actors. The teacher provided some areas for improvement such as expanding the research on the sci-fi genre, adding pictures to actor bios, and further detailing the production schedule. With some additional work in the areas identified, the teacher felt Chris' pre-production work would meet the requirements for a higher grade.

Businessman donates $20,000 boat to Don Rowing Club Mississauga News By David Paterson MISSISSAUGA — In his younger days, Mississauga businessman Chris Toperczer was a passionate rower. As a member of the Don Rowing Club, he was part of the club’s long history of producing successful rowers, winning in the 1993 Henley regatta in St. Catharines as part of a four-man crew. Two decades later, Toperczer, who now runs Toper Temps Staffing, is helping the next generation of rowers. On Saturday, the club received a four- person boat donated by Toperczer’s company. The $20,000 craft is named Spirit of ‘93, in honour of Toperczer’s most successful year with the club. It was given a traditional dousing with Champagne before the rower’s from the club’s junior A crew took it out on the water. The businessman said he’s looking forward to following the boat and its crews in competition in the coming years.
