Two bees named Bizz and Lizz lived in Zijalo and were worried about finding a place to leave their honey since people were afraid of bees. They explored the valley looking for friendly houses but found empty homes with pointed roofs that scared Lizz. They heard laughing from a big building called a school and found happy children inside who didn't fear the bees. Bizz and Lizz decided to work hard filling buckets with honey each evening to leave on the school's windowsill. The children enjoyed eating the honey and appreciated the bees' work, ensuring the town of MirnaPec remained good to bees.

1. A huge cliff is rising above a gurgling water spring, deep down in a hidden part of intact nature.

2. Even today some rocks are coloured in yellow, because it was there that wild bees used to leave their honey behind.

3. And if you ever get the chance to visit this mysterious cliff, take a good look at it and maybe, just maybe, you will see some honey,

6. I know. We should find a nice place for our honey. How about we fly around a bit? What are we going to do today?Every spot on the cliff is filled with sweet honey. Bizz and Lizz, two little bees that lived at Zijalo were really worried.

7. Yes, people don't respect our hard work. And when we go near them, they try to hurt or kill us. They think they don't need us anymore. Us, who work hard every day for every single drop of honey, which they don't even eat. But where? I’m afraid to go near the houses.

8. Day after day they rather eat unhealthy food like fish and chips. They only use honey to sweeten the tea when they are sick and when they have a throat ache. That's just way too mean. But where? I’m afraid to go near the houses.

9. We are really hard-working bees and work keeps us alive. That's why we can't give up. Let's have a closer look of this valley to see if there are any friendly houses. Maybe we’ll get lucky. If we do, we’ll leave our honey on their doorsteps every evening.

10. And there is another one like this here, and another one. That's weird. It seems like no one lives in them. Bizz, this one seems too pointed, it reminds me of my sting and I'm afraid to land on it. And so Bizz and Lizz started looking for friendly houses.

11. Yes, I see it, Lizz. Let’s take a closer look. Look, that one there looks kind of nice. The one with a red roof and another tiny roof next to it?

12. WOOF,WOOF! Oh no, we better go, there is a horrible creature in there and it makes weird, loud noises.

13. What about that big building over there? I think I hear nice sounds coming out of it, almost like bees buzzing. Oh, Lizz, those are not bees! They’re little people called kids. And what you hear that isn’t bees buzzing but the kids laughing.

14. Bizz and Lizz came closer to the big building called School. They flew in and secretly look around.

15. Children that are in this room look happy and they are singing and talking to each other. They seem friendly and really nice. And they’re not afraid of us and they’re not trying to hurt us. Look, they’ve even opened the door for us. Lizz, I think this is what we’ve been looking for.

17. The two bees looked everywhere, went to every hidden place they could go and turned each stone upside down.

18. You are right Bizz, nothing at all smells like healthy sweet honey. I think they would really need some of it here. Lizz, look, the kids are eating bread and covering it with something. They are also drinking tea. I bet that there’s not a single drop of sweet honey in it. Then they flew into a dining room and were stunned.

19. There is a lot of work to do. This hive seems to have a lot of mouths to feed sowe have to start working straight away. Lizz, look, the kids are eating bread and covering it with something. 20. Happy and calm, the two bees quickly flew through the open school window and got to work.

21. And every evening from then on they left two buckets filled with fresh honey on the window shelf.

22. Children knew how to appreciate their hard work. They always licked all the honey off the spoons, covered slices of bread with it

23. and put it in warm tea. Sometimes they even had honey cakes and the whole dining room smelled of honey.

24. And you know what? MirnaPec, our hometown, is still known for taking good care of bees that live around here. None of us is afraid of them and nobody would ever hurt a bee. And bees know that very well. They keep on giving us honey and other bee products that keep us healthy.

25. We, the students and teachers from our school, also wish you that you would stay healthy and that is why we are giving you some of our “gold” honey. This should help you through the winter and keep away that awful flu that we are all afraid of.
