Minnesota has many rivers including the Minnesota River, Mississippi River, Rainy River, and Red River of the North. It also contains several lakes such as Lake Superior, Mille Lacs Lake, and Lake of the Woods. Eagle Mountain is Minnesota's highest point at 2,301 feet above sea level. Major industries include farming, paper pulp, and iron ore mining, and in 2000 the population was over 4.9 million people. Minnesota borders Iowa, Michigan, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
