This document outlines the mechanics and criteria for a miniature competition being held at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College of Guimba. The competition is open to college students who can participate in groups of 5-6 members. Each group must pay a P5 entry fee and design a 1m x 1.5m miniature biosphere. Miniatures can be made from purchased or recycled materials. Groups must submit their entries by September 29th for judging based on overall appearance, creativity, relevance, and structure. Winners will be announced at an exhibition and prize ceremony that same day.

MINIATURE COMPETITION 2017
Mechanics:
1. This competition is open to all college students per level in OLSHCO.
2. Each group entry shall have a maximum of 5-6 students.
3. Each group shall pay an entry fee of P5.00.
4. Each group will provide a miniature with a size of 1m x 1.5m
5. Each group will make a miniature biosphere based on the guidelines of the competition.
You may buy the materials needed for your miniature or you can use recycle materials if
possible.
6. Each group will submit 1 miniature biosphere for judging on Friday, September 29, 2017
at Our lady of the Sacred Heart College between 7:30-12:00.
7. The miniature biosphere will be displayed for an exhibition during the prize presentation
ceremony on September 29, 2017. Winners of the competition will be announced at the
ceremony.
Criteria:
All entries will be judged by a panel appointed by the Miniature Garden Competition Organizing
Committee. The entries will be judged on the following criteria:
Overall Appearance 30%
Creativity 30%
Relevance 20%
Structure 20%
