2) Stories from interviews illustrate that snacking satisfies both social and practical needs for different individuals. Some snack to bond late at night with roommates or eat on the run between busy classes.
3) Exploring the reasons behind snacking behaviors ("you are why you eat") revealed that emotions and relationships are strong drivers, as snacking provides opportunities for socializing and caring for friends seen as family.
