How Docker EE is Finnish Railway’s Ticket to App ModernizationDocker, Inc.
VR Group-Finnish Railways is responsible for 118 million passenger rides and moving 41 million tons of cargo a year and is seeing overall growth in rail transit throughout Finland. A priority for the organization is to provide improved customer services, including an improved seat reservation system and bringing modern experiences like next generation mobile apps to their passengers. These improvements require looking at their application portfolio and deciding to either:
Revise: Transform legacy applications to more cost efficient solutions
Redesign: Redesign and rewrite mainframe-based solutions to microservices
In this session, Markus Niskanen, Integration Manager at VR Group, and Oscar Renalias, Sr. Technology Architect at Accenture will discuss how they leveraged Docker EE and the public cloud to be the common platform for these different application modernization projects. They will cover how they are leveraging Docker and the cloud to renew and optimize their application portfolio for greater ROI, leading to organization-wide adaptation of DevOps principles and cultural change in an industry that is over 150 years old.
Visualize your data in Data Lake with AWS Athena and AWS Quicksight Hands-on ...Amazon Web Services
Level 200: Visualize Your Data in Data Lake with AWS Athena and AWS Quicksight
Nowadays, enterprises are building Data Lake which store lots of structured and unstructured data for data analysis. But it takes lots of time for building the data modeling and infrastructure that is required. How to make quick data queries without servers and databases is the next big question for every enterprises.
In this workshop, eCloudvalley, the first and only Premier Consulting Partner in GCR, will demonstrate how to use serverless architecture to visualize your data using Amazon Athena and Amazon Quicksight.
You can easily query and visualize the data in your S3, and get business insights with the combination of these two services. Also, you can also build business reports with other tools such as AWS IoT, Amazon Kinesis Firehose.
Reason to Attend:
Learn how to quickly search for thousands of data on S3 via serverless Amazon's Athena
Learn how to use AWS QuickSight to retrieve information from your database quickly and create detailed reports
Respond to and troubleshoot production incidents like an saTom Cudd
So it's 4 AM and you just got a call from a panicked executive that the system is down! Oh noes! What do you do? Troubleshoot LIKE AN SA. I know "Systems Administrator" is not the cool industry term anymore, but that mentality for fixing the big live problem, like RIGHT NOW can still help today.
You're probably in the job you're in because you're AWESOME at figuring out what's wrong and fixing problems. But your projects have grown, your team has grown, and the expectations grow with them. How do you deal with these new found responsibilities? LIKE AN SA. There are some simple processes you can put in place to help make your life easier. We'll discuss a framework for incident response, a step-by-step guide for troubleshooting production issues, and how to then learn from these outages to prevent problems from happening again.
If you were a carpenter, would your skills at building be more important than the tools you use to build? Skills, right? Tools are just a means to an end. So why do developers think the language they use defines the problems they solve? This talk will take a look at misconceptions across the board, some experiences, both positive and negative, people have had crossing barriers to new languages, and show some of the benefits thinking of one's self as a coder and not a "Ruby coder" or a "PHP dev" can have on being a better problem solver.
Demystifying Security Analytics: Data, Methods, Use CasesPriyanka Aash
Many vendors sell “security analytics” tools. Also, some organizations built their own security analytics toolsets and capabilities using Big Data technologies and approaches. How do you find the right approach for your organization and benefit from this analytics boom? How to start your security analytics project and how to mature the capabilities?

MINDMAP MAKEN
hoeven doen”…
[Tony Buzan; uitvinder van de mindmap].
4
5. Wat is een MINDMAP?
• Een MINDMAP is een eenvoudige
manier om informatie in je hoofd op
te slaan en er weer uit te halen;
• Een MINDMAP is een nieuwe, snelle
manier om te studeren en te
oefenen. En het werkt echt;
5
6. Wat is een MINDMAP?
• Een MINDMAP is een spannende manier van
aantekeningen te maken;
en taken te plannen;
6
7. Een MINDMAP
bestaat uit:
• woorden;
• kleuren;
• lijnen en
• kleine tekeningetjes
[vergelijk de
tekeningetjes die je
tijdens een saaie les of
een telefoongesprek
maakt; de zogenaamde
droedels].
7
8. Uitleg:
gebruikt!
onthoudt in plaatjes.
9
10. A: Hoe maak je een
MINDMAP?
• Gebruik een leeg vel zonder lijntjes [← of ↑].
• Gebruik kleurpotloden of viltstiften [waarmee
werk jij het liefst?];
hoofdonderwerp of wel het centrale idee;
10
11. A: Hoe maak je een
MINDMAP?
vervolg
lijnen, hoofdtakken zijn je deelonderwerpen];
11
12. A: Hoe maak je een MINDMAP?
vervolg
woord, plaatje, symbool o.i.d. Zo gebruik je
beide hersenhelften. Alle woorden
[sleutelwoorden] staan op een lijn. Misschien
kun je er ook een droedel bij maken;
12
13. A: Hoe maak je een
MINDMAP?
vervolg
dunnere verbindingslijnen trekken [vergelijk
bedenken. Deze extra takken zijn de details.
13
15. Stel jezelf steeds de ??:
• Kan ik meer hoofdtakken vanuit het
centrale idee [hoofdonderwerp] in het
midden tekenen?
• Kan ik meer kleinere takken aan alle
hoofdtakken tekenen?
15
16. Stel jezelf steeds de ??:
• Kan ik aan de kleinere takken nog
meer kleine takjes tekenen?
• Hoelang kan ik nog doorgaan met
het verfijnen van mijn MINDMAP?
• Wat voor een droedel kan je
tekenen?
16
17. B: wat kun je doen met een
MINDMAP? [1]
`MINDMAPPEN’ [= ook een werkwoord]
werkt goed om:
– je dingen beter te herinneren;
– aantekeningen beter te kunnen maken;
– ideeën te bedenken [onderwerpen voor een
opstel, een spreekbeurt, een werkstuk, een
presentie, een eigen les geven, etc];
17
18. B: wat kun je doen met een
MINDMAP? [2]
– tijd te besparen;
– je beter te kunnen concentreren;
– je tijd slimmer te gebruiken;
hulpvragen [5 x W + R = Wie, Wat, Waar,
Wanneer, Waarom en Resultaat?] te stellen
terwijl je leest. De antwoorden komen vanzelf in
je op zodat het begrijpen, onthouden en
MINDMAPPEN makkelijker wordt.
20
21. Een MINDMAP van een
artikel maken:
• leeg vel + kleurpotloden o.i.d.;
• bepaal het hoofdonderwerp en teken/kleur dat;
regel];
21
22. Een MINDMAP van een
artikel maken:
• schrijf op elke hoofdtak één deelonderwerp.
Gebruik één sleutelwoord en eventueel een
passende droedel;
Schrijf woorden
géén zinnen.
22
24. Een MINDMAP maken voor
een opstel:
• Een goede introductie die vertelt
waarover het verhaal gaat;
• Een interessante en fantasierijke
inhoud is het belangrijkste onderdeel
van het verhaal;
• Een goed slot dat het verhaal goed
afsluit.
24
25. Een MINDMAP maken voor
een opstel:
centrale tekening in kleur;
trek hoofdtakken [basis van je verhaal]
evt. + droedel;
trek kleine takken [deelonderwerptakken]
evt. + droedel;
trek nog kleinere takjes [details] +droedel;
bedenk het slot van je verhaal.
25
26. MINDMAPPEN!
• Je kunt MINDMAPPEN bij alle vakken
toepassen.
26
27. MINDMAPPEN!
proefwerk / toets moet leren. Herhaling
