1) Alan Bruns is a Colorado native who graduated from Wheaton College in 1983 and received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University in 1990. 2) He served as a medical officer and surgeon in the US Army for over 25 years, including tours in Germany, Hawaii, New York, Colorado, Iraq, and Kuwait. 3) Throughout his career, he held positions such as Chief of Otolaryngology at various Army hospitals and led two medical mission trips to Belize.
