Mike Goodman has over 40 years of experience in procurement, operations management, and senior leadership roles. He holds several diplomas and certificates related to business management, procurement, and strategic sourcing. Currently, he is the General Manager of The Fruitspot, where he has implemented food safety and communication programs. Previously he has held procurement roles in industries like catering, facilities management, and aviation. Throughout his career he has delivered cost savings, developed BEE programs, and improved business performance.
El 1º Encuentro de Cátedras de Semiótica “Configuraciones académicas e intercambios de investigación” tiene como objetivo generar un espacio de intercambio académico que permita poner en diálogo las propuestas curriculares y sus articulaciones con las actividades de investigación y transferencia que, desde las diferentes materias de Semiótica, se desarrollan en las carreras de Letras, Comunicación Social, Diseño Gráfico y Artes de las Universidades del NEA y el NOA.

On 1 December 2015, the final M-CARE conference was organised in Brussels, Belgium at VLEVA premises. The event “Caring for people with disabilities and older people: challenges, opportunities and (mobile/online) training solutions” focussed on the importance of good quality personal caregiving (PCG) for people with disabilities and older people. Focus was on caring in a broader perspective, and how M-CARE’s (mobile/online) training solutions can contribute to successful PCGs.

Ethanol Precipitation is a method for purifying or concentrating DNA/RNA from aqueous solutions using Ethanol as anti-solvent.The precipitation is accompanied by the addition of salt and ethanol to a solution containing DNA or RNA.In presence of monovalent cations (eg: Na+) ethanol efficiently precipitates nucleic acids. The precipitate can be collected by centrifugation.
