This document provides a summary of three key points: 1. The author is requesting written confirmation from the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) on the mandatory frequency agility requirement for medical implant communication systems (MICS) operating in the 401-406 MHz band, as some spectrum management authorities have a differing interpretation. 2. Some regulatory bodies such as the German authority BNETZA have a deviating interpretation of the frequency agility requirement. 3. The author wants to invite representatives to the upcoming WMO meeting to discuss and illustrate the issue in more detail in order to guide spectrum management authorities to correctly apply the ITU-R SA 1346 document.
