- 9. MICROFOX Cutters andPliers Our cutters are without a chamfer.... What is a chamfer? a beveled edge connecting two surfaces. When equipping PC boards, where the components are soldered, cuts made with chamfer can cause problems as solder beads can form at the end of the wire.
