Mexico has a variety of climates and terrain suitable for filming. It has a federal republic government similar to the US with executive, legislative, and judicial branches. The Mexican peso is the currency and GDP was increasing until being impacted by the pandemic in 2020. While wealth is concentrated among the richest 20%, Mexico has a large labor force and exports vehicles, machinery, and oil. Infrastructure includes highways, airports, and railroads. Mexico offers lower costs and beautiful filming locations from its history and culture.

where more north it is dry and hot. As seen on the Köppen climate chart for
Mexico it offers many options for a movie to be filmed in.
• Along with that the topography map of Mexico also proves it to be very
dynamic for a plethora of films, from mountain ranges to large flat areas to
even cities.

Structure
• Mexico is classified as a federal republic; it is made up of 31 states
and then the federal distract.
• They also have a presidential system, like the United States of
America.
• The government powers are split into 3 branches, those
are executive, legislative, and judicial.

• The currency in Mexico is the Mexican Peso.
• 1 Mexican Peso is equal to 0.05 United States Dollar, so 5 cents

• The GDP trend of Mexico hit a dip in 2016 but was trending upwards until 2020.
• Mexico has recovered quite well since 2020 and are estimated to have a GDP of 1.3 billion USD by the end of 2022

• The per capita GDP is 10,180 USD which is 204522.31 Mexican Peso's.
• It is estimated to hit 10,290 USD in 2022

the population live in poverty.
• In 2019, 51.7% of income is held by the richest 20%
of the population.

• Filming in Mexico is like filming in the United States just taking the exchange rates and passport needs into consideration.
• If someone wanted to film in Mexico, you would contact the local authorities or someone familiar with them to get permission
and follow the labor laws of the area.
• Anyone who wanted to film in Mexico would have to use locals and everyone you used outside of local would require a
passport to obtain entry to the country.
• The distribution laws and other laws including the newest one requiring you to use subtitles in Spanish are like what you would
expect if you were to film in the United States, just using a lesser value currency to pay the way.
19. Transport Cost
• Using a website Skyscanner, which is a flight comparison website that
compares flights from all carriers and companies that redirects you to
the sites for the prices they show we can get a general idea how
much flights would cost to Mexico.
• An Average round trip from Florida to Mexico city is between 350-
600 depending on flight preferences. Along with 140-200 for a one-
way trip from Florida to Mexico.
20. Why Choose
Mexico?
• Mexico is a wonderful place that has a great history and culture, combine that with
a tight family-oriented structure and good people and you get a beautiful city and
country.
• Mexico has great locations built by the Aztecs and other societies of its past to
create a great location to film and create a wonderful visually esthetic place to
make a movie.
• These factors and the dollar going much further in Mexico makes it a fantastic
place to use a movie location now and well into the future.
