RE: Mick St. John Reference
To Whom It May Concern:
Recently, following two years of financial losses, our commercial bank required that Conecsus, LLC
significantly reduce our expenses in attempt to turn our business around. As part of our cost-cutting, we
were forced to abruptly terminate 12% of our workforce, many of them at the manager level in order to
hit our financial targets. Unfortunately, Mick St. John was one of those that we were forced to let go.
Mick had served as our Maintenance Manager for nearly 9-years. At our peak employment, he
supervised a team of 11 maintenance employees. Mick is a Master Electrician, but also became strong
in mechanical maintenance and repairs as well. He was extremely well-rounded in all maintenance
aspects. He performed in an exemplary fashion, and frequently was on the front line, tools and meters
in hand, to keep our equipment and operations running smoothly and/or swiftly repaired so as to
minimize downtime.
He initiated and managed our Preventative Maintenance Program, and managed several large projects
where outside plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and civil contractors were under his direction. Again,
Mick performed excellently under these circumstances.
Mick’s attitude was pleasant, professional and respectful. He set an example of how his workers should
behave and perform.
I strongly recommend Mick St. John for a maintenance management position. He would be a major
asset to any organization. We are very, very sorry to see him go.
Please feel free to contact me with any further questions you might have about Mick.
Sincerely,
Dr. Jack A. Scott
