Hamm were best friends even before college. They both played
            on the National Soccer Team together.

Mia was caring to all her teammates. Never let them down. She
         always took charge and tried to make plays.

Dependent on all her teammates. Always needed to be the
                  leader on her teams.

Mia Hamm was very entertaining to watch all the time. She
          always had a trick up her sleeve.

Flew away from her family in Texas. At age 15, Mia joined the
              Women’s USA National Team.

Great with her speed and agility. Mia was great to getting to
                  the air and open balls.

Happy all the time. Mia always put people in a good mood.
I   n my opinion....




    In my opinion Mia Hamm was very interesting. She was
     interesting because she was good at anything. She did
                    football,soccer, and ballet.

Jammed in a bad situation, Mia could always get out. She could
          get out because she was always so calm.

Kept the team alive even in a bad situation. Never let her team
                           just quit.

Luck was never believed in for the Hamm family. Mia always
       tried her hardest and practiced even harder.

Mariel Margret Hamm was born on March 17, 1972. She was
                 born in Selma, Alabama.

Mia was number one on the All-Stars Team. She was also the
             youngest player on the team.

Mia was very optimistic on everything. She always stayed calm in
                         any situation.

Played for the U.S. Women’s National Team. They won the first
                     Women’s World Cup.

Quit ballet as a young child. Hated having to do it and just
                   wanted to play soccer.

Mia was always reliable to stay calm. She stayed calm even when
                    her team had panicked.

Mia was unique in many ways. Mia was picked to play for the
    National Team when she was just fifteen years old.

Mia was virtual with the ball. Mia has done things never seen
                           before.

Went to North Carolina University. Her head coach instructed
         for the Tar Heels and the National Team.

    Extraordinary with the ball. She was able to get out of any
                            situation.

Years after practicing hard Mia had done it. Mia had made 291
               goals in her proffessional carreer.

Mia zoomed past many kids when she was young. Though she
         was the youngest; she was the quickest.
