I am writing to recommend Marygail Lakner for the position of Associate Director of Member
Engagement.
I have had the pleasure of working with Marygail during my two terms as an executive officer in our
University’s chapter of Golden Key International Honor Society. In the time I have known Marygail she
has displayed nothing but professionalism, drive, and resiliency. Her passion and role as a leader has made
her someone our members can look up to for an example of leading with integrity.
If you have the opportunity to meet her you will see that she is a woman of extraordinary character.
Her enthusiasm inspires others. She is always willing to go the extra mile. Her dedication to
Endometriosis awareness has helped to set our chapter apart from others. UNT’s chapter will now be
holding an annual awareness walk every March thanks to her amazing work. She is truly driven and I
know she will excel in anything she puts her mind to.
I know the University of North Texas’s Golden Key Chapter will deeply lament our loss if Marygail
is chosen. She is such an excellent officer and what she has accomplished in our chapter will become a
lasting legacy of her amazing work ethic. She would make a tremendous asset to headquarters and has my
highest recommendation.
Without reservation, I believe Marygail is one of the most committed, hardest-working students in
our organization. She is smart, focused, and capable of great things and I can think of no other person
who is more deserving of this position.
