The Metropolitan Christian Center organizes Christian movies, concerts, seminars and other events at The Light Cinema in Liberty Center Mall in Bucharest to help people meet Christ. The project started by using an 80-seat cinema hall and grew to needing a 290-seat hall after 6 weeks. Each week they distribute over 8,000 flyers supported by a restaurant in the mall. They preach the gospel to 200-300 people each week and 20-50 people receive Jesus, with over 300 people receiving Jesus over time. They are now working to disciple new converts and integrate them into church.
