Messic is a RESTful API and process that organizes a music library without a user interface. It can be monitored through an independent Messic Monitor application. The Messic service exports the RESTful API and a web interface to consume from any device. Current native clients include Android and TV apps. Messic is a Java application built on an OSGI framework using the Spring framework. It is open source on GitHub and the developers welcome community collaboration on the project. Future plans include improving plugins, the web client, testing, format conversions, and social sharing features.
