Bill enjoys Apple products but only owns an old iPod. He often goes to the mall with his friend Lucy, who he suspects likes him. One day at the mall, Lucy steals an iPhone 5C from the Apple Store and gives it to Bill as a gift. When Bill asks how she got it, Lucy admits that she stole it.

1. Bill loves Apple devices. Most of his friends have iPhones and some of them were
even given MacBooks for Christmas. He’s very jealous, as Bill only has an old iPod
Nano. Very often, Bill goes to mall with one of his friends, Lucy. He doesn’t “like
her”, but Lucy probably likes him. It’s fine as Bill appreciates the attention. One day,
Lucy’s parents drop Bill and Lucy off at Short Pump Town Center. They go to the
Apple Store and Bill and Lucy both fawn over the new iPhone 5C. They separate as
Lucy goes to look at the accessories while Bill fiddles with the iPhone. Out of the
corner of his eye, Bill notices Lucy stop abruptly, look down, and then quickly shuffle
in his direction. She grabs Bill by the arm and pulls him outside the store. “What is
it?” he asks, but she just drags him further out toward the food court. Standing in
front of Chik-Fil-A, Lucy stops Bill and says, “Close your eyes and hold out your
hand.” Bill does as directed and a smooth, weighty, square object strikes his hand.
He opens his eyes and sees a brand new iPhone 5C in his hands. “How did you get
this?!” he asks. “I stole it,” she replies.
