Project name: Actwinning Drama name: MEETING AN OLD FRIEND The drama is about a Turkish English teacher named Caner who receives an email from a school director in England about a job opportunity. In the first scene, Caner tells his mother excitedly about the email. In the second scene, Caner leaves for England as his mother wishes him good luck. In the third scene, Caner arrives at the English school for a meeting with the director. During the meeting, Caner realizes one of the other teachers, Mr. Jackson, was someone he previously knew from an eTwinning project, and they decide to catch up on old times.

Caner is an English teacher.He is 25 years old. He likes his job . He wants to find a job in an other
country.He sends his CV to schools . One day ,he receives an email from a school director. He asks if
Caner could come to England.
SCENE 1 : AT HOME:
(Caner is at home.He plays computer games .Suddenly he has an email..He reads it and… )
Caner: Oh mum ,I am so happy.. I have just had an email from a school director in England.I am
going to England .
Mum: Oh really ? I am happy , too !
Caner: I hope everything wil be allright.
Mum: Don’t worry ! You are a good teacher. I am sure you will get that job.
Caner: Ohh! Thank you, mum.
Mom: When are you going to England?
Caner.:As soon as possible mummy,as soon as possible...
SCENE 2: AT THE AIRPORT
(It ‘s time to go to England. Caner is ready..His mum is sad. She kisses her son.She wishes him good
luck.)
Mom: Have a nice trip, Caner.
Caner: Thanks mom, I will call you .
Mom: Ok. honey.

2. SCENE 3: IN ENGLAND
(Caner arrives England and then goes to the school for the meeting.)
School Director: Welcome Caner to our school!
Caner: Welcome Mr. Knight.Nice to meet you!
(There is another teacher in the room.)
School Director: This is Mr. Jackson.He is an English teacher,too.
Caner: I think I remember this name.
Mr. Jackson: Yes, I remember you, too. I know you from etwinning Project ‘’ beeing a teenager in
Europe’’
Caner: What a nice surprise ! How glad I am to see you here:)
Mr. Jackson:Let’s go and talk about old days.
Caner:okey, let’s go.
