The students had a fun and eventful homestay in Killarney, Ireland. Each day they participated in different activities that helped them experience Irish culture and nature. Some of the key events mentioned include going on a jaunting car tour of the national park and lakes, visiting Muckross House and a traditional farm, playing Irish games, doing a scavenger hunt around Killarney town, and shopping for souvenirs on their last day. The students recommend visiting Killarney as there are lots of fun things to do and see, and you will enjoy the experience.

2. First Day, landed!

3. Day 1
Monday, 28th
In the morning Brid gave us a test to know
our English level, it was very easy, there
were: a description a little bit difficult and
grammar. Then we had breakfast, and after
that we played a long English game, but it
was very funny.
To play the game you have to say a letter
and all the players have to write: an animal,
a country, a food or a drink, a noun, a verb
and an adjective that begins with this letter.
After that, the player who has more points is
the winner.
Later, we had lunch fast because we had to
visit the downtown of Killarney. There we
caught a jaunting car and we arrived to a
castle and to the “learn luck lake” (we think
it’s this the name of the lake). There is a
legend of this castle, this legend is about a
woman in the medium age. This woman
knew that their unfriendlies were coming to
destroy the castle, so she warned the knights
jumping out the Tower. Now , people says
that in the castle lives a ghost (the woman).
The castle and the lake are beautiful. After
that, we went to different shops to buy
Ireland Souvenirs for the family, friends…
And we saw lots of things!!!
It was a funny and fantastic day!!!

4. Day 2
Today we went to visit a lot of
places. First we went by taxi to
the national park, and we saw
beautiful things. We saw a
waterfall called "Torc waterfall
", to arrive, we had to walk
through a mountain called
"Muckross" . The vegetation was
very green and the air was very
clean. After the walk we went to
Muckross House, we had a guide
who explained us the history of
the house. Then we went to have
lunch and after lunch we went to
visit a farm. At the farm, we saw
a lot of animals and we learned
how the people lived in the past.
In the poor houses we saw how
they made bread and in the rich
houses we saw how they made
butter.Today it was a great day
because we learned a lot, we had
a good time together and it was a
sunny day.

5. Day 3
Wednesday,30th
Today we arrived to the
school and we did games
about superheroes. Then, we
ate our breakfast.
After our breakfast we
returned to class and made
up a story about
a superhero. At the end of
the class we ate lunch. While
our lunch break we played
with Pau's rubber egg.
Next, we went
outside, football field. We
played Irish games (called
Rounders), and ifyou won
Brid gave you a small prize.
It was very fun!!!
Brid got a movie or film
called Real Steel. And at the
same time we
ate pizza, chips and sweets.
It was a great day!!!

6. Day 4
Today we had lessons with Bríd
and Brendon, then we had lunch
and next we did a scavenger hunt
for all Killarney. We ran a lot
because we wanted win, we asked
a lot of people to know the
answersof the sacvenger hunt: we
had to count the shops of the
outlet center, took a photo in
front of a statue, know the name
of an ancient musician of
Killarney, know what
Mr.Murphy's sells, buy a
postcard, a stamp and send the
postcard to a person. We had to
buy a bag of regular chips and
two bags of sweets. Both groups
won the Scavenger Hunt,so Brid
gave us a T-shirt. After it,we went
shopping for one hour. The girls
didn't stop buying clothes at
Pennye's!! The girls stayed in the
same shop for one hour and the
boys went to 7 shops!
And after that we went to eat
some pizza! We had a very good
time.

7. Day 5
This day was very
special, because it was the last
day.
We did the normal classes but at
12 o'clock we did a contest and
Sergi, Pau M, Jan and me did a
song Celia,Joana and Julia
danced a song, Judit and Paula
did acrobats and Eva danced
Sevillanas. Later, we took a bus
the airport. At the airport, we
went through the security control
and pau has a problms with the
security guard because he didn't
take out his “dangerous
umbrella”. We had an amazing
experience in Killarney.
We will repeat this wonderful
trip for sure!
