We make life more affordable, healthier, convenient and fun.
What are HTLE? They’re a network of micro-communities, going
up in all the fastest growing urban hubs in the US and abroad; and they
provide rental housing and everything else people use everyday in a
beautiful green sustainable environment. It’s kind of like an affordable
modern lifestyle community and member’s resort club all in one. They’re
also the first in the world socio-economic capitalist loop that uses a
proprietary virtual operating system.

4. How it Works
You join the club as a Resident Member and get affordable rental housing and access to competitively priced
basic everyday resources, (or just access to basic resources as a Visiting Member), from us or our enterprise partners.
Things like: Healthy corner market food staples, an efficient transportation system, basic dry good shops, professional
healthcare services, a private banking/credit union, travel accommodations to any of our sister sites around the US and
abroad; and a business resource center. In exchange for all this you promise to spend a certain amount of your income
buying from us and our enterprise partners, instead of the other guys. We add a 2% fee on purchases to cover
operating expenses, (But then things like utilities are included in the rent because we design with solar and geothermal,
plus all the other cost-of-living savings more than makes up for the 2% fee.) This means we can make money offering a
higher quality affordable lifestyle by selling our goods and services directly to our members and the general public. And
members get to live in is a beautiful park like resort for the same price as the other guys apartment rental.
To keep costs down, everything is done over a integrated private operating and virtual monetary system, so you
can pay bills and make purchases with your membership card that is also a security key card.
The average starting income to live in one of our communities is about $40,000 a year depending on the city,
and you still have to pay your income taxes, but by sticking with us and our enterprise partners, we are able to create a
much better deal for a lot less money putting you in a higher lifestyle bracket not higher tax bracket.
5. Who’s our Typical Member?
Our primary market member is an educated, tech savvy, forward thinking person between the ages of 25-50 (and
their family members or registered housemates), who is currently migrating into rapidly growing urban sectors along
with many major job creators. They work in industries with horizontal career movement and will most likely work for
themselves at some point in their lives. “By 2025 they will make up as much as 75 percent of the workforce.” -
Brookings Institute.
Our secondary market is everyone else who wants to live in an affordable high quality new green rental unit in a
walkable vibrant community where they benefit directly from their spending, (A person will need an income of at least
$40,000 a year to live in many of our sites or to have access to federal or local living subsidies.)
6. Commercial Partner Enterprises
Retail and business service partners are open to the general public and the proprietor pays the 2% fee
for transactions with non member customers. In exchange, enterprise partners get a dedicated customer base
and low advertising costs. For Member purchases, the 2% fee is taken from the Member’s account.

10. Visiting Members
Visiting Members have access to many of the same
services and amenity as Resident Members, for a
monthly user fee plus any added costs, without living
onsite.
Although many shops and services are open to the
general public, there are benefits and savings to
becoming a member at any level. For example,
besides getting access to members only amenities
and benefits at reduced prices, Visiting Member are
eligible for available apartment lotteries and are
always connected to sister sites when traveling around
the world.
11. Becoming a Member
Resident Members pay a base rent for the number of rooms they rent, plus a household fee for each added
person living with them for two weeks or more a month: These are called Registered Family Members. Our housing
rates will be highly competitive with average local rental rates and we will participate with local and federal housing
assistance programs whenever possible.
Visiting Members pay a base monthly user fee plus a small fee for any Registered Family Members they sign
up on their membership plan.
To qualify for an open housing unit, you must be a member in good standing with the company and be able to show
your ability to pay your housing costs for at least one year prior to participating in any of our lotteries for available units.
Most lotteries will be held a month before units are ready for new occupants.
*Note: We estimate the average annual income needed to live in one of our communities will be around $40,000 a year. Fees and rates will be
based on local area rates and cost of living.

15. The User Points System
As members, everyone promises to spend a certain amount of their income in the community on things they’d
buy anyway like food, healthcare and eating out etc...(This is around 60% of a member’s annual income), and to keep
track of this responsibility they are signed up to our virtual operating system that lets them make payments and
purchases without cash or credit cards and gives them points every time they make a financial transaction.
When a Member or their *Registered Family Member makes a purchase for services or merchandise from one of
our onsite **Enterprise Partners, a 2% charge is made to the transaction that is paid by the Member’s account. If a
person from the general public makes a purchase for services or merchandise, the merchant pays the 2% User Fee.
This is just another way to keep operational costs down.
Members get affordable products they need right in the community, but we also make it simpler to keep track of
their spending.
* Registered Family Members do not have to be married or related to the primary member to become Registered “Family” Members.
**Enterprise Partners are all our privately owned and operated onsite shops, eateries and commercial services.

Simpler and More Secure
By joining us, our members are signing up for a much simpler banking system that is accessible 24/7 online to
keep track of all their community purchasing, bill payments and personal finances. It tells them how much they have in the
bank every time they pay for necessities such as housing, basic food staples, transportation, childcare or eating out
etc…So they can see exactly what their lifestyle is costing and make adjustments for building a long term savings plans or
making special purchases.
Our closed loop private monetary system is also much safer because members make all their financial transactions
with their membership card and secret pin thats only connected to their community’s encrypted *tokenization system and
not a large global banking institution. If there is ever a problem, their site team, or our corporate services agent, is
available to figuring things out and give a real time answer immediately, never a runaround.
*Tokenization is a data security model that replaces sensitive data like credit card information in applications and database fields with a
proprietary token. The sensitive data is then encrypted and stored in a central data vault, where it can be unlocked only with proper
authorization credentials by persons within the security loop. The token can then be safely passed around in applications, databases and
business processes including all purchase points, leaving the encrypted data the token represents securely stored in the data vault. Hackers are
focused on finding and stealing large scale payment data that they can easily sell to criminal organizations globally. We close the loop tighter
around each of our sites with double security to make criminal infiltration more difficult and less productive for them. This is just one option
we add to other techniques to protect your monetary system such as technical, architectural or operational constraint that tokenization
imposes in practical use.

How?
A Member can go to the business center and learn business start up
basics and get professional support from our enterprise partners, or just feedback
on their ideas from their friends and neighbors who are eager to see them
succeed. They can get a loan from the company bank or crowd source it from the
virtual system. When they’re capital comes in, they can open their business onsite
where their friends and neighbors will be there to continue supporting them. If
they decide to go global, they could expand to other Hive Tech Living sister sites
around the world.
However any member decides to expand their lives, the money they
generate stays in their community benefiting themselves, their friends and the
company thats there to support them.

Its another way we’ll increase the quality of people’s lives while keeping their new
lifestyle affordable. Its done by letting members rent a car when they need it and leave
the expense of ownership and maintenance to us by offering:
○ Electric cars rentals at competitive local rates.
○ Private shuttle services to local municipal transport hubs.
○ Livery services (Until we can all rent driverless cars).
We’ll also offer onsite electric charging station throughout the community for private mini
electric transport vehicles.
Its about keeping costs down, energy use low, more cars off the roads and have
more space for healthy living.
21. Travel Accommodations
Each of our sites will have overnight accommodations for members use. This means anytime they travel to one of
our US or international Hive Tech Living Environments sister sites, they have access to a fully furnished apartment at an
affordable rate. This service is also available to our Visiting Members. So, If a qualified member flies into one of our
cities, they can have a company car pick them up at the airport and take them to the community where they’ll find lodging
and all the amenities and services they have back home but with maid service. They’ll also be connected to their
members only virtual operating system for cashless spending. They’ll never be lost or on their own when traveling again.
