Andrew Busker presented on his internship at the Joint Base Charleston Air Base Outdoor Recreation Center. He contributed to customer service, scheduling, paperwork and managing the front counter. For special projects, he created a price comparison binder, employee training documents, and assisted with youth day camps and the air base pool. Through his work with SAI and Liberty programs, he gained experience in promotion, administration, facilitation, and program planning and logistics. The internship provided learning opportunities around differences between youth and adult programming, and life in and after college. It supported his professional development in areas like program development, administration, and working with military populations.
