Tom Owen, George Barnstable, and Giacomo Pisa met to draft two letters - one to Atlantic Records requesting permission to use a song in a soap opera advert, and another to Surrey County Council requesting permission to film on public roads. As a group, they proofread the letters and researched email addresses to send the letters to the proper contacts at each organization. Tom then sent the letters from a new email account and committed to checking it daily for responses.

Meeting Notes
Today, we put together two professionally written letters. One was for Atlantic
Records, regarding our chosen song for our soap opera advert.
The other letter was to surrey county council, requesting permission to film on
public road.
At the end of these, we proof read the letters as a group and did research on
the internet to find the email addresses that we needed to send them to, in
order to get the emails to the right location.
Actions from the meeting
I have set up a new email account separate from my other ones. I sent the
emails to the council and Atlantic Records from my account, so I am going to
check my emails every day, awaiting a reply until I get a response.
