• A family entertainment center, A Maze’n Farmyard maintains a
permanent maze, birdhouse, and petting barn to keep visitors of all
ages entertained. Run by Paul and Sheila Haag,A Maze’n Farmyard
is an active part of its EdenValley, Minnesota, community. Both the
park and its owners belong to Meeker Cooperative Light and Power
Association, and Sheila Haag serves on organization’s trust board.
Since 1935, Meeker Cooperative Light and PowerAssociation has
provided safe, reliable, and affordable energy and related services
to central Minnesota.

3. Meeker Cooperative
• One of the many programs offered by Meeker Cooperative is its
EnergyWise load control program.Through this program, the
organization is able to conserve energy usage among customers
and reduce their bills.
Meeker Cooperative customers must voluntarily enroll in the
EnergyWise program. By enrolling, customers allow the
organization to shut down their primary cooling and heating
systems during periods of heavy energy use. Sometimes, these
peak demands occur during moments of extreme seasonal
temperatures. Meeker Cooperative may also choose to shut off
certain systems due to a sudden increase in wholesale energy
costs.
