Mindfulness - Art of Living in the MomentManoj Shah
Mindfulness is an ancient Buddhist practice of paying attention to the present moment non-judgmentally. It can help reduce stress and improve focus. Mindfulness involves focusing attention on a single anchor, like the breath, sounds, or sensations, and gently returning attention to the anchor when the mind wanders. Regular mindfulness practice can have psychological benefits like reduced stress and anxiety and increased focus, as well as physical benefits like reduced blood pressure and stronger immune function. It is a skill that gets easier with consistent practice.

Meditation is one of the most popular practices in the world, but it’s not necessarily something that everyone knows about or understands. The term itself doesn’t necessarily bring to mind images of a serene lake or a mountaintop breeze — we think of sitting silently for hours in an empty room with nothing but our breath and our thoughts as company. But there’s more to this practice than just the stereotypical idea of sitting quietly with your eyes closed and your mind at peace. Let us explain what meditation actually is, why it’s so important, and how you can start practicing today.

Mindfulness. It’s a pretty straightforward word. It suggests that the mind
is fully attending to what’s happening, to what you’re doing, to the space you’re
moving through. That might seem trivial, except for the annoying fact that we
so often veer from the matter at hand. Our mind takes flight, we lose touch with
our body, and pretty soon we’re engrossed in obsessive thoughts about something that just happened or fretting about the future. And that makes us anxious.
in this free ebook you will learn everything you need to know on how to keep your mind healthy so that you can live a fullfilling life and learn to achieve true self compassion
Welcome to a delightfully different, non-religious, introduction to the basics of Meditation, its advantages, whether you are in search of some earthly purpose, like Stress Management, better health etc. or, interested in getting initiated to the spiritual world. You will have some idea, your interest would get generated, and you would take the initiative to seek more information and guidance.
People have different ideas when they think of meditation.
Often they think of a person, sitting in a Lotus-pose, sitting still and doing nothing at all. This is certainly true but it is much more than that. You can meditate while you’re walking, standing still or sitting.
According to me, it has more to do with developing awareness.
When you become more aware, you become more familiar with your state of being.
When you develop more awareness, your whole life will change.
For example you become more aware of how you feel; conscious awareness of vibration. You become more aware that you are aware. This for me is the ultimate way to raise your vibrational state. Becoming aware of awareness is the real “Present Moment” and this can deepen endlessly.

Feeding plate for a newborn with Cleft Palate.pptxSatvikaPrasad
A feeding plate is a prosthetic device used for newborns with a cleft palate to assist in feeding and improve nutrition intake. From a prosthodontic perspective, this plate acts as a barrier between the oral and nasal cavities, facilitating effective sucking and swallowing by providing a more normal anatomical structure. It helps to prevent milk from entering the nasal passage, thereby reducing the risk of aspiration and enhancing the infant's ability to feed efficiently. The feeding plate also aids in the development of the oral muscles and can contribute to better growth and weight gain. Its custom fabrication and proper fitting by a prosthodontist are crucial for ensuring comfort and functionality, as well as for minimizing potential complications. Early intervention with a feeding plate can significantly improve the quality of life for both the infant and the parents.

you go into it. This can be done in a separate room or in a corner of your home. Simpler
decorations encourage calm and peace. You can bring something that inspires you to explore the
space. You can choose a beautiful photograph of nature or a portrait of a saint, or anything that
will remind you of the truth and love you cherish.
2. Be practical and think about what you might need. Always bring a container of tissues, a water
bottle, a hand towel, and preferably - if you are meditating, ideally - sandpaper. Music can be
played if you wish. Dimmed lighting or candles work well.
People who have created a meditation space tend to be more committed to their practice than
those who don't have one.
3. Get ready for your body
Before you go into meditation, it is important to be clean and free from odours. These odours
can distract you or other people who are meditating together. Put on loose-fitting clothes and
brush your teeth. It's nice to feel clean. Preparing for a trip can feel like a cleansing. You clean
out your body of all the "muck" from the day.
4. Sitting down versus lying down
Research has shown that laying down can cause us to fall asleep and therefore meditation is no
longer effective. Meditation is about being awake and clear. It is important to sit straight up and
3. be comfortable enough that your body doesn't distract you while you meditate. One of the most
frequently asked questions is whether one should sit in the lotus position to reap the benefits of
meditation. It is confirmed that if we are able to sit straight up with our legs crossed, and our
fingers in mudrah, the kundalini energy within our spines can move more freely. This allows us
to attain deeper levels of consciousness and is a way to help us reach deeper levels of
consciousness. My experience shows that this is possible for many people by practicing
meditation in many other positions. It is better to be comfortable and able to breathe deeply
than to be in a lotus posture and become distracted by the discomfort in your body. This is where
you should be able to find your own path.
5. Clear Your Mind
Meditation is not a way to quieten your mind. Meditation is a way to enter into the stillness that
is already there, buried beneath the 50,000 thoughts most people think every day.
To prepare your mind to be relatively "empty" so that you can concentrate within, write down
all current thoughts, issues, and resolutions. Simply sit down and write everything down until
your mind feels empty. It isn't trying to remember or "hold" any information.
It's like trying to stop your mind thinking by your naked hands. It's exhausting.
You can learn to meditate and your thoughts will flow naturally. You don't need to exert any
effort.
Meditation is an act that allows you to let go, not shutting yourself off.
4. 6. Be open to changing your expectations
You must let go of any expectations you may have about your meditation. Sometimes, we wish
to recreate an experience that we have had in the past because it was so memorable. If we have
a desire to have a similar experience, it can stop meditation from flowing. We might not be able
to move forward with the next step. Let go of expectations to become more open to what is
occurring and what we desire.
7. Concentrate on Your Reason for Meditating
Spiritual desire is what meditation is to us. We need the sun to keep us alive, and spiritual desire
is what we need to maintain our focus in meditation. Your spiritual desire is the root of all things.
If you don't feel the need to, it doesn't mean that you have to view it as a spiritual desire. It can
be your motivation, your intention, or your drive to improve and grow. Whatever you call it: this
type of desire is an inner feeling that sustains you as you meditate.
5. Take a moment to reflect on your intention, the reason you are sitting down and going inside. It
is important to focus on this and allow yourself to feel it. This feeling of spiritual desire will carry
you all the ways.
