1. Here I have put the lyrics to our chosen song into Wordle.net and it has pulled out
all of the key words and I and my partner used this to help us create our story
board and gather more new ideas as to what to add into our music video.
From these words the main ones we picked out and have used for inspiration
were: home, without, building, around, surrounded, others, cold, one, empty,
house, concrete, lost feeling and somewhere.
These are because we really want the audience to feel her emotions of loneliness
and get across a clear link between the lyrics and visuals as Goodwin’s theory
states this is key which is why we have taken words such as: without, cold, one,
empty, lost and somewhere and put these into the shots where she is walking
around the castles and the rivers alone in a cold environment and one meaning
alone she has no one.
In the shot we plan to do as a handmade shot with her friends we got this
inspiration from the meaning of the song and what it means to her as she feels
more at home with her friends but also from the words: home, around,
surrounded, others, building and concrete and this is why we decide to get her
and her friends making a pyramid to symbolize friendship but also home and a
stable structure where she feels as though she can be herself.
