This document describes the process of transforming magazine pages for an RnB genre magazine. The designer used Photoshop tools like the magic wand and brush tool to remove backgrounds from images and add a plain black background to make all elements stand out. Cover lines were also added to the cover page to match inspiration magazines. For the content page, the designer applied the rule of thirds and added images in the center with surrounding content. Some images were altered using filters or cutting to make them less similar and better represent the RnB genre through the use of black, white, and colors associated with RnB.
2. This is my inspiration for the colour scheme
Of my RnB magazine. I believe the plain black
Background is effective as it helps makes
Everything stand out and these colours are also
Representations of the genre RnB.
3. This was the original image in which I had taken,
As I wanted to change the background to fit my genre
I decided to use the magic tool on photo shop to remove
The background as shown in the next picture

4. I then added the background accompanied
With some cover lines which I thought suited
My genre of RnB. I have also included the same amount of Cover lines
As the existing RnB magazine which I am using for inspiration.

6. I applied the rules of third rule by adding a grid which splits
The A4 page into three. I placed my images in the middle with the
content And editorial of both of the remaining sides.

7. As I believed a few of the backgrounds of the content page were too similar
I decided to use the magic tool and the brush tool to cut out the first image.
I then decided to add a black and white filter over the third image so it didn’t look
Too similar to the last image. I believe black and white is a nice filter for RnB as both
Colours are representations of RnB
