FMP - Inspiration

My sisters keeper This film relates to my in the way it is both about girl who suffers from life threatening diseases.It gave me many different differnt ideas and helped me understand how this type of story would be told. Emotional, sad , justice, loving ,hope, determination and fate all play a part in the story. You can take any of these words and place them "YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY" By the lyrics you could come up with many different ideas. The lyrics give you so much to play with and so many stories can be bought out of it. When listening to the song these are the lyrics which stuck with me Genre’s- family drama . The reason or this is because the film gives many messages to the audience . These are never give up hope and never stop beliving From the lyrics we also came up with the idea of someone who has a mental problem trying to get through life. The lyric “you are beautiful” would be the message we try and get across to get across.
- 2. The idea I first got from the lyrics was a story about someone cheating on their partner. The reason for this is because of the words “I already know”. These words could mean many things but to me they are trying say that I know that you have cheated on me . The lyrics could mean that someone has done something wrong and has tried to hide , the problem is someone has found out You don’t have to say what you did , I already know A genre which would suit these lyrics would have to be drama. This is because of the ideas you get from the lyrics. You couldn't imagine a comedy being made from the lyrics Another story I got was a story of revenge. Again this is due to the lyrics “ you don’t have to say what you did”. These lyrics give me the feeling of someone who has been hurt and is seeking revenge
- 3. Another idea I got was about a guy who has no friends until one day he bumps into someone who befriends him. The problem is that the guy does not trust anyone so he has to learn how to trust people again. I got may idea form these lyrics but the strongest was a story of a man who is trying to impress a girl who has been hurt many times. “I know it's hard to keep an open heartWhen even friends seem out to harm you” From these lyrics you could come up with many types of genres. You could have an action film, drama or even a comedy. The lyrics and the words suggest many things such as a love story , cop thriller and maybe even a romativ comedy The words “friends seem out to harm you” suggest that there are people who dislike or hate another person. From this you could create a movie about someone who has maybe the mafia or mob after them. It could also just be a two rivals out against each other
- 4. The genre’s I picked up from theses lyrics were action, thriller and drama. The reason for this is because of the words “in the end”. It tells me that there has been a struggle or conflict. The first idea I got from these lyrics was the story of a boy who aims to be a boxer but faces problems along the way. No matter how hard he tries he never seems to win In the end it doesn’t even matter Another story I got was about a stockbroker who loosed everything. He looses his house , wife and mind. He tries his best to get back into a job but it never seems to work out The lyrics “doesn’t even matter” suggest to me that someone had given up, which could create numerous amounts of story’s. You could create an action about a solider who cant take the war any more or a student who has given up on education
