Mean, Median, and Mode

Mean
• For mean you must add all the
numbers.
• Then you take the number of numbers
that you just added.
• You now take the number of numbers
and divide it by the sum.
• You now have your answer!!:)
Median
• You have to number the numbers from
least to greatest.
• Then you find the middle number.
• If you have two you find the mean of
them.
• Now you have your answer.
Mode
• You must look at the numbers.
• Then you find the one that shows up the
most.
• Now you have your answer!!:)
Example
• I have a news flash. You thought you
were going to get an example, but your
not. My fingers hurt.
Example
• Mean:2 and 2, 2+2=4,4 divided by 2 is 2
• Median:2, 2, and 2, middle is 2
• Mode:2, 69, and 69=69
