Órgãos como coração, pulmão, rim e fígado tiveram altos índices de crescimento. O Ministério da Saúde ampliou os investimentos e incentivou parcerias como com o Facebook para promover a doação de órgãos.

Clostridium Difficile is a bacterial infection of the intestines that causes diarrhea, abdominal pain, and weight loss. There are four key ways to prevent its spread in hospitals: proper hand hygiene using soap and water for at least 15 seconds; cleaning all surfaces with bleach wipes and allowing them to dry for 5 minutes; placing patients in isolation if they have diarrhea or a suspected infection and sending stool samples to the lab; and having environmental services thoroughly clean all surfaces, including beds and monitors, with bleach when a patient is discharged.
