4. Key Speaker
Rattaphol “Ahn” Onsanit has developed his insights on
the international education system as a student of three
graduate degrees, a teacher, a career coach for foreign MBA
students and most recently a broadcaster at Voice of America in
Washington, DC where he launched a weekly education news
segment for the Thai audience. Prior to that, he was employed
by Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, helping
coordinated several efforts for MBA program development in
China. Ahn has also co-founded Ivy Connect where he trained
international students aspiring to study abroad in admissions
process, communications skills, and cultural adaptations. Earlier
in his career, he was a journalist at Bloomberg News and has
interned at Apple Inc. while studying MBA at Duke. He has

-- Built a learning network under “Mentor Project”
connecting students in my class at Thammasat
University with professionals in the U.S., Europe and
Asia.
-- Joined Apple’s internship program, helping
reviewed its learning apps for Apple University Group.
Met with Steve Jobs and asked him a question. Steve
responded: “Are you an MBA student?”
-- Conducted competitive analysis reports for Duke’s
Fuqua School of Business. Led orientation for
international students.
-- Co-founded Ivy Connect. Awarded a contract from
Siam Cement Group to coach the company’s
employees for MBA applications.
-- Launched an educational news section for my team
at Voice of America, keeping Thai student audience
informed about international education. Ahn holding a workshop for Siam Cement Group
also taught at Thammasat University for two years. In addition to MBA, he held graduate
degrees from Columbia University's School of Journalism and American University's
School of International Service.
Passionate about teaching and coaching, Ahn founded Ivy Connect with a mission to
