3. Preface
Projects are an indispensable part of any kind of formal education. They help us to have a
practical exposure as well as a better outlook of the project, which we are studying. In a
professional course like MBA, the students are equipped with strong theoretical knowledge
about the business operations and the time tested methods of running a successful business. To
make this theoretical knowledge stronger, the students are assigned certain projects in various
organisations to get an idea of practical working styles.
The study is about similarities and differences between the advertisements of a physical
product and financial product. Because it is a vast area and we had a limited time constraint, for
our own convenience we had chosen to consider only two products viz. ICICI Prudential Mutual
Fund and Sunsilk.
4. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
At the very outset we would like to thank our guide Mr. Rohit Sahal (Assistant Professor) who
gave us this opportunity to undertake this project and for his generous help, inspiration and
guidance throughout the study, in spite of his busy schedule of work.
We should also remain grateful to our centre because of which we have got an opportunity to
undergo such a study and also all our for sharing their ideas and views.
