I suggest the Government should build more infrastructural facilities to attract more Foreign Direct Investment . Domestic resources should be mobilized and spend efficiently. Vain political promises force political leaders to chew what they cannot swallow. Political leaders should follow the action plan that brings development rather than extravagant expenses.

MAYA JUREIDINI Maya Jureidini is a Senior Business News Reporter for Al Arabiya News Channel based in Dubai, where she reports on major developments in the business world and contributes to the content of the business news programs "Al Aswaq Al Arabiya", the highest rated business news shows on Arab television. She has reported LIVE from OPEC meetings and conducted interviews with OPEC delegates and oil ministers including Ali Al Nuaimi, Saudi Oil Minister and Abdullah Al-Attieh, former Qatari Oil minister, in addition to former OPEC presidents Mohammad Al Hamli and Chekib Khalil. In addition to the above, Maya has also interviewed major decision makers both locally and internationally. In the Arab world she has interviewed Ibrahim Al Assaf, Saudi Finance Minister and Mohammad Al Abbar, Chairman of Emaar Properties among others. Within the global arena, she has interviewed U.S. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew, Christine Lagarde, former French Finance Minister and current Managing Director of the IMF, Richard Branson, Founder of Virgin Group and Nobuo Tanaka, former Executive Director of the International Energy Agency. Maya Jureidini has also reported on major economic events such as the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos. On a lighter note, Maya is often approached in order to conduct reports about companies such as Google in Zurich (March 2008 & Feb 2009) as well as the unveiling of the new GTR car by Nissan in Portugal (May 2008). That is in addition to covering the production line of Boeing 777 in Seattle (May 2009.( Maya Jureidini joined Al Arabiya in 2005 from Citibank in Beirut where she worked in financial control. She has a double major from the Lebanese American University in Business and Psychology, completing both degrees with distinction.
