“ For to everyone who has, more will be given and he will grow rich; but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.”
In order for love to be love, it has to be given, shared, or in other words, invested.
It is the “talent” given to us all.
Someone with 2 loved ones will soon have 4 and someone with 5 loved ones will soon have 10.
Love is mysterious. The more it is given away, the more it grows.
If love is not shared, it dies.
Loneliness can be an empty and dark experience of suffering.
If we find ourselves feeling alone with our arms wrapped around ourselves,
the Gospel invites us to extend those arms in an embrace of God and others.
To everyone who has love, more will be given.
