Angļu valodā uzsvars tiek likts uz:
 skaitļiem no 1 līdz 10
 orientēšanos no sevis
 ģeometriskās figūras
 krāsu nosaukumi
Prezentācijas apraksts
Improve the mathematical skills of children and
integrate the English language.
Purpose
 Develop children’s logical thinling
 Develop children’s perception
 Develop children’s attention
 Develop children’s desire to cooperate with peers
 Develop children’s skills to express their thoughts
 Develop children’s skills in putting numbers in rows
 Develop children’s skills to count
 Develop children’s ability to name neighbouring numbers
 Improve children’s skills to recognize numbers
 Strenghten nowledge about composition of numbers
 Repeat the colors
 Develop children’s orientation skills (to the right, to the left etc. From the child)
 Develop children’s ability to see directions in general
 Develop children’s skills to create geometric shapes using other shapes
Tasks:
Children draw numbers from 1-10 and stand in
ascending order from 1-10. Then they call out their
number.
1st task - NUMBERS
The teacher shows the numbers from 2-7. A child
with this number comes forward and names own
number and the neighbouring numbers. E.g.
Number 2 is called and the child steps forward,
names his/her number and 1 and 3.
2nd task – THE NEIGHBORS
We stick 4 stars each with different number of rays on the
board – e.g. Green (7 rays, see picture), red (8 rays), blue
and orange. Teacher hands out to children circles with
numbers from 5 to 8. Child has to find the star with the
number of rays as on the circle and add the circle to the
star. Then the child names his number, clour of his star.

3rd task – STARS

Teacher distrubutes the balls. Children have to show movements
according to teachers directions.

Virs galvas pacel to (LEFT IT OVER YOUR HEAD)
Un pie krūtīm viņu paturi (KEEP IT TO THE CHEST)
Nesteidzoties pie kreisās pēdas pieliec (LEFT FOOT)
Lēnām noslēp aiz muguras (HIDE BEHIND YOUR BACK)
Roku nomaini un citiem smaidi (RIGHT HAND AND SMILES YOUR
FRIENDS)
Bumbiņa pieskarsies labajam plecam (RIGHT SHOULDER)
Un atkal aiz muguras noslēpsies (BEHIND YOUR BACK)
No labā ceļgala uz kreizo pēdu aizceļos (RIGHT KNEE AND LEFT FOOT)
Un atpakaļ uz vēderu – un tikai neko nesajauc! (BACK TO THE TUMMY)
4th task – ORIENTATION
Each child has a whilte sheet of paper and 16 coloured circles.
Teacher: now we will repeat geometric shapes. What shapes do
we have on the table?
Children: (apļi)(CIRCLES).
T: Kādās krāsas? What color is it?(name the colour). Now we will
make geometric shapes with these circles. (Children work on
their paper)
T: Centrā liekam apli ( we put CIRCLE in the middle/center)
Top right corner we make a square from the circles (SQUARE)
Left bottom corner – RECTANGLE
Right bottom corner– OVAL
Left top corner – TRIANGLE
Then we check how the task was done.
5. task - SHAPES
INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARD
Children work with numbers on the board.
Task: to put number in the correct order from 1-10 and name
them in English.

 Children can name colours in English.
 Children can name numbers from 1-10 in English.
 Children can name geometric shapes in English.
 Children can name body parts in English.
 Children can name directions in English.
 Children learn to work with interactive board.

  • 2. Prezentācijā atspoguļota matemātikas nodarbība, kurā, tiek integrēta angļu valoda. Angļu valodā uzsvars tiek likts uz:  skaitļiem no 1 līdz 10  orientēšanos no sevis  ģeometriskās figūras  krāsu nosaukumi Prezentācijas apraksts
  • 3. Improve the mathematical skills of children and integrate the English language. Purpose
  • 4.  Develop children’s logical thinling  Develop children’s perception  Develop children’s attention  Develop children’s desire to cooperate with peers  Develop children’s skills to express their thoughts  Develop children’s skills in putting numbers in rows  Develop children’s skills to count  Develop children’s ability to name neighbouring numbers  Improve children’s skills to recognize numbers  Strenghten nowledge about composition of numbers  Repeat the colors  Develop children’s orientation skills (to the right, to the left etc. From the child)  Develop children’s ability to see directions in general  Develop children’s skills to create geometric shapes using other shapes Tasks:
  • 5. Children draw numbers from 1-10 and stand in ascending order from 1-10. Then they call out their number. 1st task - NUMBERS

  • 7. The teacher shows the numbers from 2-7. A child with this number comes forward and names own number and the neighbouring numbers. E.g. Number 2 is called and the child steps forward, names his/her number and 1 and 3. 2nd task – THE NEIGHBORS
  • 8. We stick 4 stars each with different number of rays on the board – e.g. Green (7 rays, see picture), red (8 rays), blue and orange. Teacher hands out to children circles with numbers from 5 to 8. Child has to find the star with the number of rays as on the circle and add the circle to the star. Then the child names his number, clour of his star. What number is it...? It’s number... What colour is your star? My star is... 3rd task – STARS

  • 11. Teacher distrubutes the balls. Children have to show movements according to teachers directions. Savu bumbiņu paņem labajā rokā, (RIGHT HAND) Virs galvas pacel to (LEFT IT OVER YOUR HEAD) Un pie krūtīm viņu paturi (KEEP IT TO THE CHEST) Nesteidzoties pie kreisās pēdas pieliec (LEFT FOOT) Lēnām noslēp aiz muguras (HIDE BEHIND YOUR BACK) Roku nomaini un citiem smaidi (RIGHT HAND AND SMILES YOUR FRIENDS) Bumbiņa pieskarsies labajam plecam (RIGHT SHOULDER) Un atkal aiz muguras noslēpsies (BEHIND YOUR BACK) No labā ceļgala uz kreizo pēdu aizceļos (RIGHT KNEE AND LEFT FOOT) Un atpakaļ uz vēderu – un tikai neko nesajauc! (BACK TO THE TUMMY) 4th task – ORIENTATION

  • 15. Each child has a whilte sheet of paper and 16 coloured circles. Teacher: now we will repeat geometric shapes. What shapes do we have on the table? Children: (apļi)(CIRCLES). T: Kādās krāsas? What color is it?(name the colour). Now we will make geometric shapes with these circles. (Children work on their paper) T: Centrā liekam apli ( we put CIRCLE in the middle/center) Top right corner we make a square from the circles (SQUARE) Left bottom corner – RECTANGLE Right bottom corner– OVAL Left top corner – TRIANGLE Then we check how the task was done. 5. task - SHAPES

  • 17. INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARD Children work with numbers on the board. Task: to put number in the correct order from 1-10 and name them in English.
