In the first session on day two, Dr Craig Wright discussed the concept of ordering transactions and having path-based sessions. He also discussed some of the practical use cases for nLocktime. In the second session on day two, Dr Wright asked attendees to think of ways to use time-locked Deterministic Finite Automata (DFAs) to create processes for creating products or services. This included everything from shipbuilding and construction to issuing degrees. In the third session on day two, Dr Wright looked at the usage of nLocktime contracts in supply chains and services. He also held a workshop with attendees imagining different products and services that can be created using them. In the final session on day two, Dr Wright asked the attendees to think of ways to use nLocktime to make business easier for small to medium companies, such as by helping them raise money, sell bonds, and capture market data.

In the first session of the Bitcoin Masterclass Zurich series, Dr Craig S Wright explained that the reason double-entry accounting was created was to solve some of the problems with error entry—with a double-entry book, two columns need to match, creating a check and a balance. In the third session, Wright discussed tokenising processes and how putting products on-chain can directly benefit companies and consumers. He drew from a real-life example dealing with shipping in Mumbai and how the process was weighed down by endless pieces of paperwork, stamps, and signatures. In the final session on the first day, the attendees split into groups to discuss the different business use cases to utilise the concepts discussed so far. This includes tokenisation, accounting, and mapping transactions on-chain.

In the first session on the second day of his Slovenian Masterclass, Dr Wright discussed using distributed hash tables to create a truly decentralised network. In the second session on the second day of his Slovenian Masterclass, Dr Wright asked the workshop attendees to break into groups and discuss applications that can utilise distributed hash tables, IPv6 and blockchain across different industries. In the third session on the second day of his Slovenian Masterclass, Dr Wright discussed multicast and IP2IP. He also discussed the structure of distributed systems and addressed how we might link, index, and search for information on them. In the final session of his Slovenian Masterclass, Dr Wright asked the group to discuss some practical ways to use blockchain and IPv6. He specifically asked attendees to discuss some of the applications that could be built using these technologies across various sectors.

The BSV Association recently conducted a survey of members in its ecosystems to look at the different ways it can improve the digital wallet experience. The survey, which was conducted in July 2023, focused specifically on how the user experience around digital wallets can be improved. Participants were also asked about their personal preferences around choosing a wallet, how they access and use their wallets and the importance of privacy and customer support. This information is invaluable and the BSV Association and its partners at TAAL would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all those who participated and offered their feedback. In the first session of the Bitcoin Masterclass in Slovenia, Dr Wright discussed IPv6 and how it will work alongside Bitcoin to create a truly distributed, permissionless peer-to-peer network with no scaling limit. He opened the session by discussing the basics of IPv6, anycast, multicast and IP-to-IP. In the second session, Dr Wright discussed the various use cases for IPv6 and Bitcoin and how the two technologies can work together to create a new Internet. In the third session on day one, Dr Wright discussed wallets and overlay services on Bitcoin. He also gave an overview of the different peer-to-peer services which can be built on the technology and why the Internet needs to fundamentally change. In the final session on day one, Dr Wright discussed how blockchain can be used across a variety of sectors including the food industry and hotels.

Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process. In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds. - These are slides of the talk given at IEEE International Conference on Software Testing Verification and Validation Workshop, ICSTW 2022.
