Seismic response of cellwise braced reinforced concrete framesPralhad Kore
The document analyzes the seismic response of reinforced concrete frames with different patterns of reinforced concrete bracing. Numerical models of 5-bay, 12-story reinforced concrete frames were analyzed with different bracing configurations including bare frames, fully braced, partially braced, outrigger braced, and cellwise braced. The responses, including internal forces, displacements, and member sizes, were compared for each configuration. Optimal baywise and levelwise locations for bracing were identified based on producing smaller internal forces within acceptable ranges. Cellwise bracing was explored as a configuration that combines advantages of other patterns while allowing for clear openings.

This document provides instructions for a two-part lab on forces and Newton's first law. Part A deals with two forces in equilibrium. Students will set up three scales, two elastics attached at an angle, and record the force readings. Part B adds a third force, requiring students to draw a line between the forces and measure two angles. Safety procedures are reviewed, and materials including scales, string and paper are listed. The teacher will demonstrate proper techniques before students perform the lab.
This document provides an overview of Newton's Third Law of motion. It states that when one object exerts a force on a second object, the second object exerts an equal and opposite force back on the first object. Examples are provided, including two connected chain links and a situation involving rockets. The document also presents a sample problem involving two blocks connected by a massless cable where one block is accelerated by an applied force. Practice questions are listed for students to review Newton's Third Law.
1) The document discusses position-time graphs and velocity-time graphs, defining uniform motion as having constant velocity in both magnitude and direction.
2) It provides examples of how to determine average and instantaneous velocity from position-time graphs by calculating slopes of lines on the graphs.
3) Instructions are given on how to draw a velocity-time graph based on information from a position-time graph by calculating the slope of each part of the position-time graph to determine velocity.
This document discusses database design using the REA data model. It covers the following key points:
1. The steps for designing and implementing a database system using the REA data model include identifying business events, the resources affected by those events, and participating agents.
2. An REA diagram models a business domain by depicting the relationships between resources, events, and agents based on rules like ensuring each event affects a resource and is linked to other events.
3. Developing an REA diagram involves identifying relevant entities from the business, determining the cardinalities of their relationships, and describing how instances of entities relate to each other.

Dear Human Resources Manager:
I am an energetic person who is a Maintenance Technician, plus a Maintenance
Manager with Computer Experience. I also have my Inspection Authorization and CDL,
class “A “, with air and doubles endorsement. I have my own tools. I am a person with
hands on maintenance experience and am able to weld almost anything, including
case iron .
Graduated from Parks College of Saint Louis University on May 13, 1994, I received
a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics: Aircraft Maintenance Management and Airway
Science Maintenance Management. While studying to be a Avionics engineer I am 4
semesters from achieving that degree. An University of Alaska in 1984 with a A&P and
a AAS in Aircraft Maintenance I have worked on civil aircraft and military jets heavy
equipment, motorcycles and other small engine machines. When I was in the Navy I
was assigned to the flight-line and to the airframes departments. My duties included
troubleshooting and supervisory positions. My team and I performed our duties so well
that our planes could return to service immediately. That high degree of performance
earned our squadron the highest on-time flight record of all the squadrons aboard the
USS Constellation during "WESTPAC 79." I personally received a letter of
commendation for my performance and leadership abilities.
With more than thirty years total experience as a mechanic on heavy equipment,
trucks, and aircraft. In the general aircraft, I have worked mainly on singles and light
twins like Cessna, Piper, Beach Debonair, Bonanza, Baron, Britten Norman BN-2A
Islander. With the NAVY jets my experience is in multi-mission fighters A-4s, A-7s, F-
4s, F-14s, and light transports such as the C-1As. My specialty mechanical repair
management and logistics along with trouble shooting systems and composite repair,
and emergency retrieval of damaged aircraft. .
I received my A&P in June of 1982 and my Inspection Authorization in May of 1990.
7. Having held several jobs and attended several maintenance refresher seminars. Has
allowed me to stay current with aircraft maintenance procedures and rule changes. The
abilities I have developed over the past years as a manager/mechanic serve me well.
I have been asked several times why I have had so many jobs it is not that I have
had so many jobs but that I have good records of where I have worked. Some
employers hire me to clean up their shops and aircraft then because I am such a good
worker and don’t mind working overtime they feel I am to expensive and lay me off after
hiring someone who is not a dedicated to the job. I have hire standards for my work and
some employers just want you not to fix what is broke just put a patch on it we will get
to it latter well latter never comes.
I know that I can fulfill your needs and would be a good addition to your team. I
would like to meet with you to discuss a position with your company in more detail.
Please contact me at my home phone (907) 354-7262 , (907) 354-7267 or by email at
cdub_adub@yahoo.com
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Charles W .Harter
